- Not to put down the distributors who sell modem software, as for a lot
- of people it's the only way they can get ahold of the stuff... but...
- the best modem software for your Atari is shareware, excluding the
- Express! cartridge. I haven't seen or used that product, I stand
- strongly by Bobterm for general communications, and Omnicom for vt100
- capability. Bobterm should be the only thing you need for connecting
- to BBS systems, Compuserve, GEnie, Delphi, etc. I suggest a VT100 program
- like Kermit 65 or Omnicom if you want to dial into your school's mainframe.

- Regarding your printer, is the port on the printer itself the standard
- centronics connector, or something different? If this model you have
- has some proprietary connector, you may be stuck with the interface cable
- Epson sold to you. I believe this was the case with the Big Blue printer,
- wasn't it?
