- Hello,
-
- This is my first post to this newsgroup. I have an Atari 800XL at
- home that I used to use A LOT, but once I got into high school and college,
- I didn't get much time to use it. I still get a few catalogs from certain
- companies, though. The other day I noticed that B&C is selling the SX212
- modem for $30.
- My question is : If I buy the "SX-Express Modem Software Package",
- will this be the only extra thing I'll need to buy to use this modem?
- Also, what are the costs nowadays for using the modem [subscribing to
- certain services, etc.]?
-
- Another unrelated question ... A long time ago I bought an Epson
- Homewriter-10 printer and hooked it up to my 1050 disk drive with an Epson
- Interface (Part #8692AA). Everything has worked fine on it, except for the
- fact that it won't print ANY graphics whatsoever. I have several programs
- like Cardware and such, as well as lots of pictures from AtariArtist that
- I'd like to print, but can't. Would a new interface help the problem?
- (This printer does support graphics, by the way.) Maybe the ICD printer
- cable will work?
- Well, that's enuff questions. I'd appreciate ANY responses.
- Either e-mail them here or just post them. Thanks a kazillion.
