- I'm looking for peoples comments on editors (source code type).
-
- Can anyone recommend a decent editor? The orca editor is a
- disgrace, slow and only one file at a time (I've still only
- got orca 1.2) and i've heard that the orca 2.0 editor is even
- slower. Prism crashes in 30 seconds. I've tried Rose
- and it is nice and fast, the ability to work on 2 files at
- is nice, but I'm looking for something that
- a) Isn't as buggy as Rose (it has some really nasty bugs
- when recording macros that sometimes cause my system to
- die REALLY badly) b) allows more like 9 files at a time.
- Microemacs is quite nice, but it's so SLOW loading files!!
- I don't want to wait years just to load my asm source.
-
- Anyone got any recommendations?
