  23.     Apple has not really modified the Disk II drive over the last 12 or so  
  24. years that it has been out. They added a few things to the ROM for daisy  
  25. chaining and some stuff so that the computer doesn't sit there and try to read  
  26. from it all day, but all and all, its still the same mechinism. Amazing though  
  27. that Apple still charges $250 retail for it....
