  13. It seems that the articles about John's DOS 3.3 Launcher keep
  14. getting further and further away from John's original post where
  15. he complained that ONLY 2 people had sent in their shareware fee
  16. ($10 as I remember).

  18. I was shocked by the low number and doubly shocked to think that I
  19. might be 50% of the world that had sent in the fee so I sent John
  20. mail asking if my $10 had arrived. The good news is, it had. The
  21. bad news is, only one other person had sent their fee to him. (If
  22. you remember John's mail, the other person was an over achiever
  23. who had sent in $30 because John's program is so cool.)

  25. This confused me based on the level of discussion on piracy that
  26. goes on here from time to time. I finally came to the conclusion
  27. that a GREAT number of people were more than willing to send their
  28. fee, however, they didn't know just how to do it to such a remote
  29. (to us) place as Australia.

  31. The answer is simple:
  32.  
  33. 1. Go to your local currency exchange and get a money order for
  34.    $10. This will cost you an additional $.80 or so.
  35.  
  36. 2. Put the money order and no more than one sheet of paper telling
  37.    John what a great person he is for developing this program into
  38.    an envelope.
  39.  
  40. 3. Address the envelope "exactly" the way John stated in his
  41.    docs. I know it doesn't make sense for America, however, we
  42.    have to believe the Aussies know what they are doing.

  44. 4. Here you have a choice, you can either go to your local post
  45.    office and have them weigh your letter and pay the $.50 they
  46.    ask, OR simply plop two $.29 stamps on the sucker and eat the
  47.    huge $.08 cost for being lazy.

  49. Remember folks, TINSTAAFL; (There Is No Such Thing As A Free
  50. Lunch.), you either pay the folks willing to support your computer
  51. or watch it die. The choice is yours.
