- Well, I was having the same problems with CTS/Zmodem uploads... PT3
- would keep on sending regardless of the state of CTS, the modem's
- buffer would overflow, and I'd get tons of ZRPOS errors. After talking
- to some people on IRC about this, Brendan told me about the problem
- with the Motorola chip and the fix for it. So, I opened up my GS, took
- a look at my 26LS32, and whaddaya know? It's a Motorola! Anyways,
- after experimenting with a couple of resistors, I found that a 270 ohm
- resistor did the job for me; PT3 stops sending when my modem's buffer
- fills, I can upload without any problems, and I get cool xfer rates of
- about 1550 cps :-)
-
- BTW, according to the Hardware Reference, the modem port's 26LS32 is
- labelled UC13 in a ROM 3 GS...
