- There was an upgrade to the Thunderscan software. (It had to, to support th
- IIGS' new graphic resolutions). There was both a P8 and a P16 version. (I like
- to use the P8 version. It's much faster, and often offer higher quality.)
- Both supported 360/620 B/W resolution. I don't think there is much
- improvement in the basic hardware. All you need is to get the software
- upgrade (which might or might not be offered by the company, as they are
- concentrating on Mac/IBM products).

- As for OCR, I don't know. I don't even know why it doesn't support Lightning
- Scan GS (which is fairly similar to the Quickie). There is a lot of talk of
- an upcoming upgrade to Inwords. Perhaps these two scanners would be supported
- then...
