  27. I called Econ a month or two ago and asked about AutoArc.  I was told
  28. that there are different compression algorithms that can be used. Sone
  29. of which will compress more efficiently than others but will also take
  30. a little longer than others to decompress.  The strategy will be to 
  31. choose the most efficient compression algorithm for files which are used
  32. infrequently and the less efficient but "speedier" algorithms for the
  33. more frequently used files.  I am assuming that you can set the 
  34. compression method for certain filetypes.  But, they didn't go into
  35. much greater detail than what I have told you.

  37. Oh yeah, they did say that they were trying to "finish" it up for
  38. Apple Expo - East.  Since I haven't heard anything I guess they didn't
  39. make their deadline!!  (Surprise, surprise!!!)
