  32.     If the drive is allowed to cool down(even for a short period 
  33.     of time) the drive lubricant will congeal and prevent the disks
  34.     platters from rotating.

  36.     Before you get a replacement, try lightly tapping
  37.         the drive to loosen the lubricant. If this does not work try
  38.     shaking and twisting the drive at the same time. One last
  39.     thing to try is to lift the system up a couple of inches
  40.     and drop it.
