- Yes. Get two PhoneNet connectors, one for each machine. On the GS, install
- "AppleShare (3.5" Disk)" on your system disk. On the Mac, open the Sharing
- Setup control panel and turn on File Sharing. Then select the disk or
- folder(s) you want to share and choose "Sharing..." from the File menu.
- Select "Share this item and its contents". Then open the Users & Groups
- control panel and create a new user; give it the same name as your IIGS.
- (The IIGS should ask you for a user name when you restart with the AppleShare
- installed.) Then on the IIGS, open the AppleShare control panel. It'll list
- the volumes you can mount (the disks or folders you selected for sharing on
- the Mac). Select the ones you want, and they'll appear on the GS desktop as
- file server icons.
