- I helped someone setup some Apple 3.5 drives (a'la GS) on two Apple //e systems
- via CPS UDC cards... dreadfully slow doesn't come close to describing the drive
- performance on the UDC. File copy (with Copy II Plus) of an AppleWorks backup
- disk took more than 25 minutes to copy... the Main Dictionary file took more
- than 10 minutes all by itself. Needless to say, the UDC cards were exchanged
- for Apple 3.5 controllers, and performance is on par with a 1mhz GS.
