  13. I believe that the old joysticks used something odd, like the joystick
  14. buttons, to give digital response from the joystick (I don't know that for
  15. certain, though)
  16. That's why I think that it does it.

  18. as for the other thing...I thought of that a while ago, but I don't ever
  19. recall something that would do that... (I haven't been in the II community
  20. as long as some, but I have been interested in Apple IIs since about, well,
  21. 4th or 5th grade????? (didn't get one until 7th...)
