- Actually, I find you can get the best of both worlds by using dm-emacs. This
- provides all the functionality of the dm-editor plus all those emacs nice
- extras. Obcourse, the original window starts up a bit slower, but since you
- only need one who-cares. Just define your mouse button to use a self-destructing
- version of emacs_client and you'll never miss any of your dm functions. Why should
- you, they are all there. (except text high-lighting.)

- As far as using xterm on apollo's, I find them completely riddiculous. There slow,
- ackward, impossable to define reasonable key definitions for, and worse of all
- they are completely incompatable with all the software written specifically for
- the apollos. The only thing I hate about dm windows is how ackward it is to
- send dm commands from a background process shell process. Sure, it can be done,
- but if you don't want to open extra windows in random places it is terrably slow
- and painful.
