- Dice can be started with the options -030 -020 -881 -882 to force Dice to
- generate code for the specified processor. I tried -030 on a simple cat.c
- program, but the code seemed to have the same length. Does anybody know if Dice
- can actually optimize a program for the 020 or 030 or use the fpu instructions
- for the 881, 882? The documentation mentiones that versions 2.06 of Dice was
- supposed to have support for these processor (I have 2.06.40R).
-
- I know that any 68000 program also runs on the 030, but I was interested if
- Dice can make use of the additional instructions present in the 020 or 030.
-
- Thanks for any insight,
-
- Stefan
