- I can't resist entering the language fray :) If you
- want to bash strings (language processing, parsing,
- etc) I don't think you can beat SNOBOL (SPITBOL for
- compiled versions). I have used it and LISP and
- while SNOBOL is even less "intuitive" than LISP
- it has some wonderfully powerful tools for
- bashing strings of tokens (words).
