  15. That's a _filesystem_ problem. It's _not_ a "bad block". The block is ok,
  16. but the data "inside" it is messed up. HDToolBox is more to work on and
  17. adjust "physical" stuff related to your HD like bad blocks and partition that
  18. limits. It doesn't really care what filesystem you use on these partitions
  19. you select. So you used the wrong tool. You need a filesystem check/repair
  20. utility like DiskSalv.

  32. _repair_. That's true. It was never meant to do that. But it's perfectly
  33. useable for 3.0 as it used to be.

  38. To my knowledge C= didn't ever release any filesystem check/repair tool
  39. with the OS except for "DiskDoctor" which has disappeared by now because of
  40. "malpractice" (end of quote :-)
