- What version of the RKM:Includes? IMO, this is a relatively useless
- manual, since you already get electronic copies of the includes, and
- the autodocs are available from C=.

- SAS/C 5.1 does come with 2.0 includes - unfortunately, it is the 2.02
- includes, which were current when 5.10 began shipping. Contact SAS
- Institute tech support if you can't find the 2.04 includes someplace
- else.

-
- Yes, you can use new includes without updating. No, tagcall functions
- do not cause a problem - but you will have to use assembly stubs to
- call them, since 5.1 did not support #pragmas to call taglist functions.
- (6.0 supports #pragma tagcall for this purpose).

-
- You will need to contact SAS Institute's Book Sales department and ask
- them to change your registration. If the previous owner has already
- upgraded his compiler, you will not be allowed to do this, so be
- careful! Once you have transferred the registration, you may upgrade
- your version just like any other registered customer. Our policy is
- one upgrade per registered copy, but we're flexible about who the
- copy is registered to. (If the other person has upgraded, he shouldn't
- be selling you his 5.10 copy, either.)

-
- Well, let's see... the upgrade price is $109; You're paying probably
- $10 to $15 for the book, leaving you with $70 to $75 for the compiler.
- This puts your cost for 6.0 at $179-$184. The student discount and
- the competitive upgrade from Manx are both $197.50, so this is an
- improvement. I think street price from the mail-order places is
- around $230, so it's a big improvement from that.
