- Well I can't tell you what's wrong, but I can tell you I have had exactly the
- problem you describe with my Impact Series2 A550+ HD.
- I assumed it was a problem with the power supply, basically because one night
- the thing made a loud pop, visable spark and stopped working.

- At the time the HD was about 2 months old, and still under waranty.
- GVP in Melbourne Australia, have been very good at replacing my power supplies
- so far we have had 4. They informed me last time that they have had 'some'
- trouble with their power supplies, but have changed suppliers or some such. I have not had any rouble with the current supply <yet>.
