- I'm much more likely to purchase programs that I've had a chance to
- view as a demo like pagestream, lemmings, etc. I certainly appreciate
- the chance to view it especially since it is the case that because of
- C= there are so few dealers around where you can see new hardware and
- software. Some people don't like the idea of demoware, crippleware or
- whatever you call it, but I think it works and people respond to it
- better than shareware or regular commercial distribution methods.
- This I think is the point before people start blowing their stacks.
- If you look around notice what companies do offer demo's and look at
- the traffic associated with them. Perhaps there may be some
- correlation to sales in the long run. Might make a good research
- project. (I've had some statistics work anyone interested? I'm not
- expensive.. :)
