- I've got a problem with a flaky Seagate ST-157N ahrd drive. The symptoms are
- these: I'll be sitting at the computer, when I'll hear a sound exactly like
- a hard drive spinning up. I'll wait until the sounds go away, and try to
- access the drive, only to have the computer tell me that "Volume Warpdrive
- has a read/write error". A cold boot will fix the problem for a while (a
- while being anything from 10 minutes to 3 days), but it's a recurring problem.

- I doubt that it's a stiction problem; I had a 157 with that problem, and it
- didn't act like this at all. Any clues out there in net-land?
