  31. I suppose the problem is with the telephone line. As soon as the
  32. modem and the computer are able to communicate via the serial port,
  33. wich is proven by the react of AT commands, all is well. Are you sure
  34. your wiring from the modem to the telephone wall outlet ist set up
  35. correctly?
