- When I was doing my computer science degree, many of my classmates
- were about to buy a personal computer of some sort. I did a comparison
- chart of the Amiga 500 versus the IBM-PC/XT and everyone agreed
- that the Amiga was far superior and better value for money. But the
- reason they bought the IBM-PC/XT was that pirated software was
- freely available for the PC. I asked them which computer they would
- buy if they had to _buy_ their software, and they said the Amiga.
