- I had the same problem. I kept getting these strange errors on my
- drive. Eventually I became fed up because I couldn't back up my HD and
- the errors re-appeared even when I reformatted the drive. GVP tech
- support told me that the speed of the drive was changing with the fan
- so the data was being written at different speeds. He told me to send
- the whole thing in, and in about a week and a half they sent me back an
- entire new drive, which is working just fine. I suggest backing
- everything up immediately if you still can. If not, use a program like
- fixdisk to salvage what you can (that is what I ended up doing. I was
- able to retrieve everything but a few fonts, I was pretty lucky). On a
- related topic, what are the chances of me messing up this drive again if
- I have really loud base which makes the table kinda pulse?
