- Ok how about this for a long route...
-
- download from archive (ie ftp) using a sun workstation,
- login on a mac, plug fingers into appletalk network connector, and
- memmorise the voltage signals coming out of it, plug fingers into a RS232
- port on a PC (xt) and using a super human effort of skill and concentration
- change the resistance of my skin (while pluging other hand into low voltage
- power supply), 'send' the data (which I memorised, remember) into the pc
- and then out onto 5.25 inch low density floppies. These are then read in by
- my spectrum 16K through a disk drive interface and then sent down the network
- socket to a bbc B runing an rtty radio module which transmits the data to my
- amiga clasic (wb1.1, 256K ram, not even ECS chips).
-
- and that is only when jupiter and saturn are in conjuction, and there is a low
- solar interference factor....
