Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you ! Commodore started showing a new ad last weekend (7/8 Nov). For out overseas viewers, it goes something like this...
Opening scene...An orange ball appears hovering above the ground and a "Terminator" figure materialises from it (rip off of "The Terminator"). Our Terminator advances forward, looking for his target - cue scene change to our hero, the Amiga User. We see a be-specacled dweeb sitting in front of an A600. First, he uses an Art package and we see the over-layed legend "Better Graphics". Then a music package with the legend "Better Sound".
Cue Terminator putting his hand through the door to out heros room and entering menacingly. Our hero turns his head, and moves his hand to the joystick. He begins to zap baddies in "Another World" very proficiently. The legend "Over 3000 games" is overlayed on screen. The Terminator gulps, looks nervous, and we see the action "Exit" appear on his Head-Up-Display. He promptly de-materialises and the day is Won.
We get the end logo "Amiga Computers" and a catch-phrase which I can't remember (something like "Can you Handle It ?").
