  30.   In general if you pick drives from the same manufacturer you should be
  31. okay (assuming that they are recent vintage, some old drives may not
  32. work with newer drives).

  34.   The other alternative is to wait for the ATA spec to be adopted by
  35. all drive manufacturers.  At the rate this is happening, the A9000
  36. may be out by then. :-)

  38.   In any event, always get complete documentation for both drives, study
  39. it over and over, offer up a sacrifice to the appropriate drive diety of
  40. your choice, and hope for the best. :-)  If a certian setup refuses to
  41. work, try swapping the drives, make the slave the master and the master
  42. the slave and try again.
