- Because it cost about $500-$600? Virtual memory isn't all it's cracked up
- to be, it's no holy grail. It's usefull but if you're running an intense
- mission critical application that keeps swapping out to disk. You might as
- well buy more ram because the time saved by running in real ram will be worth
- more than the money saved by not adding more ram. This is especially tru
- in the graphics industry where the per-hour fee is quite high.
