- I mean, I ask you, why the hell would anyone want to put a keyboard on
- their lap? It is the most awkward way of using a keyboard possible! It
- moves all around the place when you press a key, and makes you sit
- with an incorrect posture. For years Unions have been trying to get
- correct height worksurfaces for computers, eliminate glare and
- radiation from screens, and yet people on this board seem to think
- that just because you cannot use the A1200 like a TV dinner that it is
- some sort of crime!!!!
-
- The A1200 is so small and manuverable that it is easy to rearrange it
- on a desktop, and as Dr Kittel says, its not that bigger than a
- keyboard (certainly an IBM keyboard) anyway...
-
- And yes, there are other computer manufacturers actually trying to
- sell on the built-in-keyboard model, only last month I saw an advert
- in PCW which was for an IBM PClone with disk-drive and CPU built into
- the keyboard... it's the way you think about it... (snobbery?) Is the
- Keyboard built into the CPU (seemingly Bad)? or is the CPU built into
- the keyboard (a marketing point, Good)?
-
- Really, this discussion is just plain silly.
-
- If you don't want an A1200, don't get one, and don't try to put off
- other people from getting one. A1200 will be the life blood of CBM
- over the next few years, it is only by selling lots of these machines
- that CBM will be able to afford to develop the pizza boxes you
- require...
-
- Sorted? You should be!
