- Hey! That's part of the new math! 10 fingers minus 1 curious finger = 9.

- This is humor in it's worst form... It almost sounds like a REAL fact.
- Fortunately, most people realize that it's the LARGE electro-magnets that
- drive the floppy drive door that CHOMPS your data as it passes by. (Not
- to mention fingers, disks, and cat paws.)
-
- >You should be OK if you 1> don't get too adventurous with your fingers, or

-
- Noooo! This is a multi-tasking system. (Theoretically multi-processor,
- but that's another story.) You're supposed to run EVERYTHING at once!
- Get out your DSS-8, HP-Laser Jet, SupraFaxModem, 8-line BBS, Toaster,
- GenLock, De-interlacer, 112 Meg ram board, Unix, PC software, Mac software
- Amiga Software simultaneously! And then scream for days that C= isn't
- paying close enough attention to the needs of a computing market.
-
- >For the humor impaired- this was a joke :)
-
- This was a scathing commentary into the demoralization of a nation as
- a whole, the disintegration of the US infrastructure, and the lack of
- substantial computer-related posts in this group.
-
- Anybody got a handy sarcasm meter that one can wave in front of the
- screen???
