- I suppose this really only applies in the UK, as laws differ
- around the world.
-
- In the London classifed ads paper, LOOT, there is an advert
- from a private advertiser which is repeated every day and
- has been for several months. He claims to supply any Amiga
- program, one pound for games, five pounds for applications.
- A few times he mentioned ProPage, PageStream, WordWorth etc.
- When I phoned him and questioned him, he became abusive and
- said `report me'.
-
- What shall I do? Would FAST be either interested or effective?
- Would the police be interested? I could `buy' some stuff from
- him as evidence. LOOT reaches millions of Londoners every
- day and is a very widespread paper. Private ads are free. I
- would hate to estimate how much Amiga software is being stolen
- and distributed in London in this way.
-
- I am leaving off my .sig as I am not keen on letter bombs or
- what not.
