-
- No and no. Distribution of Workbench requires a softare license from
- Commodore. It is not free. This is one of the reasons why many freely
- distributable software packages simply do not contain the Workbench
- executables.

- Take your original master disks and re-install the software. If you read the
- documentation, you would have realized that you should only be working from
- copies, not the originals, in your day-to-day work.
-
- Assuming that your masters are also corrupted, you should be able to take your
- master to a dealer and ask him/her to re-copy from a known good copy. This
- isn't legal either but is fairly common practise.
-
- If you can't get to a dealer, look at the warranty cards that came with your
- masters. The address and price is quoted for replacing corrupted disks. If
- the disks are new enough, I believe that they will be replaced for free. Of
- course, if the disks aren't new, you should be able to recover from your own
- masters since you did make your own backups, didn't you?
