- I am currently using 40MHz 386 machine with Super VGA graphics, but I would like
- to get into sound and video so I'm considering moving to either a Mac or an
- Amiga. I'm not sure which model Amiga is best for graphics (do any of the
- models have 24-bit color?) and video work. What is currently available that
- will surpass or at least equal my 386 in processing power (I would like to be
- able to do full color raytracing and fractal generation, animate these images,
- combine them with sound and then transfer them to video). Any advice on
- hardware and software availability would be appreciated. Approximate costs
- would also be helpful. The Amiga is not widely available here so it is
- difficult to get answers here. Does Commodore have an email address?
-
- Please reply via email as I don't get much time to read the news.
