  21.  unfortunately, i have to agree with mark, ouch :) (Tim, you'll have to
  22. disregard what i mailed you - it'll only work on a PaintWriter XL
  23. 300). Some minor points: DeskWriter will autosense and can talk
  24. RS422 or RS232 - at a fixed 56K baud. It has one font for printing error
  25. messages and a very small subset of PCL for printing rasters and
  26. setting compression modes. ( I guess you could write a driver for it,
  27. that rasterizes everything. A lot of work, though.)
