  45.     I think the real problem here is price/feature ratio.  The A4000
  46.     comes with IDE.  e.g.  no tapes drives, cdroms, etc.  To upgrade
  47.     to scsi you will need to by a Commodore or (GVP???) ZorroIII
  48.     scsi card.  Cost will probably be at least in the $200-300 range 
  49.     ( being optimistic even ).  Most people bying the A4000 are long
  50.     time Amiga users, having a A2000 or A3000 and have a sizeable 
  51.     investment in scsi peripherials.  Also the A4000 is a workstation
  52.     class machine with a workstation price.  In the face of these facts,
  53.     it is clear that Commodore made a fairly major blunder by not
  54.     including scsi on the A4000.  End-of-Story.  We will now just have
  55.     to get on with our lives. :-)

  57.     One additional note:  I hope the new scsi card will coexist
  58.     peacefully with the internal IDE drive already on-board, else I
  59.     will REALLY be pissed!
