-
- "Multiprocessing" in double quotes is certainly the right way to write it.
- I belive that I've read about this board for the Mac and what it does isn't
- really multiprosessing.
-
- It is an expansion card with a 68040 on it which runs totally independent
- of the host. It's more like having a machine in the machine, than real
- multiprocessing.
-
- I think what it does is to use the network capabilities that is in the newest
- version of the OS. These gives you the posibility to run one independent task
- on another machine in the network, but instead of running it on another machine
- you run it on the processor on the card.
-
- Really, it's not much more multiprocessing than having to Amigas in a network.
-
- Want real multiprocesing?
- hmmm.... what happened to all the talk about Transputer cards?
