- You've missed the point with appletalk. Its not meant for "heavy-duty
- large scale networking" as you put it. Its only a serial port running
- at 230 kbaud. Its excellent for small businesses who want to connect
- three or four machines together or us home users with 2 computers...
- If you grow to a large scale network, ethernet/arcnet/token ring is
- the way to go. But that technology costs more. Why saddle the guy
- who wants to connect two pc's together with that cost?

- together in his home, ethernet is a waste.
