- How nice that you cut my quote short. (nothing like "context."
-
- >GET A LIFE!
-
- I already have one. It's sounds like you don't though. :-) (Except maybe to
- over-react.)
-
- >You all act like you can't stick your SCSI controllers in the 4000.
-
- It's no act buddy, I can't. I still need to use it in my 2000. Even if I
- did take it out and put it in the 4000 I get almost useless results. Only
- FixDMA can help me to some degree. I would now need to re-invest in a SCSI-I
- card to get mediocre results, and then re-re-invest in a SCSI-II A4000 board
- to get real A4000 results. Also, please read two of the three replies in
- full (though you hacked mine) - we want DMA SCSI.
-
- >If you have a scsi drive, keep it and upgrade to the 4000 and you will
- >have two drives! I don't know why CBM went with IDE but it does NOT
-
- Actually I'd have 5 drives, one in the 4000 and four still in my 2500. No,
- sorry, this may be what YOU want, but not what I NEED. I would need at
- least three of my current SCSI peripherals in the 4000, not just one or two
- IDE drives.
-
- >rule out scsi drives you know!
-
- No one said it "ruled it out." If you will (or can) read, we said it will
- keep us from "jumping" into the 4000. It won't be _smooth_. THAT'S the
- point. Get it?
-
- >Besides NONE of you would have a 4000 on your desk right now because

- >for my dead one)
-
- I could walk into my dealer and have one on my desk in under 1 hour. Please
- don't tell us what we CAN and CAN'T have. Speak fpr YOUR situation only.
-
- >I say, Let the eat cake!
-
- Yeah, that attitude really makes a successful company.

- Why did I even bother responding to your rediculous blather? Oh well....
- back to real work.
