- I use the Viper with my system all the time. The only time I had a
- symptom similar to yours was when the drive was missing the middle
- jumper block -- it controls the disconnect size, ie. how much data
- will get passed back and forth before the drive disconnects from the
- SCSI bus so that another device can use it. This problem was when I
- was using the -005 revision of the firmware. I have since received
- -011 from Maynard Electronics, but I have not had cause to remove the
- jumper blocks that I installed! Try it, maybe it'll help...
