- Hiya to all those who mutilated their trusty 500,
- I performed that hack and...it worked. However, I think I have
- trouble with my GrandSlam SCSI card. At this momement, I have no drive
- attached to the interface ( heinous story ), but I would like to access the
- ram ( sort of like a game switch ). In the past ( months ) I just disabled
- the +5v and allowed the ram to be powered via +12v. This worked fine.
- However now that I am driveless and performed tha hack, I
- can not duplicate the same situation. The main point is did anybody have
- any similar problems with their hack? If so please mail me your thoughts
- and/or solutions. By the way, I did boot first and then disabled the
- drive and the card works fine ( I tested it on a 2000 ). Thanks in advance.
- I suppose it the drive thing...
