  12. I think there are a lot of misunderstandings about this Hardware Reference
  13. Manual. There is obvioulsy *NO* doubt that you CANNOT assure compatibility
  14. when 'hitting' the hardware.
  15. That does NOT implicate that you MUST NOT KNOW how the custom chips work.

  17. I mean, many amiga people i know here in Europe have the Amiga because it's
  18. GREAT fun to code. It has that great custom chips which make it really nice.
  19. BUT, they are all hobby coders, that means they code for fun. Not for selling
  20. their products. 'They show 'em their friends' (ermm... almost)
  21. And they are not bothered
  22. if that demo (or what) does not work on amiga 5000 because THEY KNOW THAT|||

  39. DOS is likely to be a lot of times more efficient and is surely easier to use.

  41. a main part of computing... I mean, you can't play or paint or word process
