- I've been using ParNet for a couple of days now and
- I made the mistake of soldering one end of the cable
- while the other was still in one of the machines.
- Of course, this destroyed the CIA.
- However, I replaced this CIA, and ParNet worked
- fine, but now it seems to have killed another CIA
- just by being there. Is it possible that the
- cable's too long for the CIAs (it's 5 metres),
- i.e. is it possible that the load's too high and
- blows all the output ports of the 8520?
-
- Please help, as I don't like feeding an endless
- stream of CIAs to my computer (nor do I have the
- money to do so)
