  11. I've been using ParNet for a couple of days now and
  12. I made the mistake of soldering one end of the cable
  13. while the other was still in one of the machines.
  14. Of course, this destroyed the CIA.
  15. However, I replaced this CIA, and ParNet worked
  16. fine, but now it seems to have killed another CIA
  17. just by being there. Is it possible that the
  18. cable's too long for the CIAs (it's 5 metres),
  19. i.e. is it possible that the load's too high and
  20. blows all the output ports of the 8520?
  21.  
  22. Please help, as I don't like feeding an endless
  23. stream of CIAs to my computer (nor do I have the
  24. money to do so)
