  17. I think the real argument is: sorry, we have the floppy controller built
  18. into the chipset which limits us to DD floppies. To use HD floppies we
  19. need some overhaul of the chipset (forthcoming, expensive) or a special
  20. drive (still expensive).

  29. Not an issue with current disk prices. And, you usually do not backup
  30. a complete disk (and time wouldn't be an issue with the special half
  31. speed drives).

  38. Now, this is no reason at all. People should use harddisks. There's
  39. noone in the clone or Mac world that uses a system from floppies.
