  15. Are there any plans for a multiprocessing or RISC based Amiga?  My last
  16. rendering took 25 hours on Lightwave 3-D on a 030/882-25 MHz Amiga for
  17. just one frame.  I hear that the Amiga is capable of multi-threaded
  18. operations.  Will this allow use of symmetric multiprocessing?  Will
  19. there be much changes to the software for this to happen?  How about
  20. RISC chips?  Windows NT (And rumors of OS/2) is starting to look nice
  21. with these features.  Can't wait next year for a DEC Alpha based machine
  22. running Windows NT at 200-400 mips and mflops at regular workstation
  23. prices.  How about graphics copprocessors?  Silicon Graphics has them
  24. for their Iris Crimson workstations that renders in real-time with an
  25. almost ray-traced quality.  But its way out of reach at over $100,000.
  26. Will the 68060 systems be multiprocessesing?  Can the 68040 systems be
  27. multiprocessing?  Radius has such boards for 68040 multiprocessing on
  28. Macintoshes.  Already maximum performance on the macintosh has exceeded
  29. the Amigas in ray tracing with the Radius boards.  Help us videographers
  30. out here.  25 hours is a whole day of not doing work on the computer.
