- You monitor will be able to display all the old modes with up to 8 bitplanes,
- including 1280*480 interlaced. New modes that use 24 KHz or 31 KHz scan
- rates won't display properly (you *may* see double images), but won't
- instantly destroy your monitor. I wouldn't leave it this way and go on
- vacation or anything though....

- You could proably be more than happy with the new 256 color and HAM-8 modes
- without every buying a multi-sync, but the multi-sync would let you use
- even more of the new features.
