  24. I just finished a harrowing 2-day torture session trying to get a Q240LPS to
  25. "work 'n' play nice" with a Toshiba CD-ROM drive.

  27. The Q240 would grab the SCSI bus, and hand on for dear life.

  29. (The host adaptor was a GVP Series II SCSI +8 RAM, with 4.5 roms in it)... 
  30. The quantum has Version 4.6 roms... The latest version is 5.7 :)> ... (if
  31. your roms say 6.4, never mind, you can't change 'em :))

  33. Changing jumper J2 on the gvp board to short pins 2-3 has solved the problem
  34. in the interim, we are waiting for the new roms from Quantum.
