  17. Ok, I guess something lucid must be introduced here, because I am so
  18. sick of the political crap flying around the net.

  20. Anybody see Sneakers?  You introduce an idea to someone, if he/she
  21. believes it, it happens whether or not it is correct.

  23. In other words, we are going to see a change in the economy because Bill
  24. Clinton got elected.  We would have seen a change in the economy if
  25. Perot was elected.  Why?  Because the people have associated the bad
  26. times and economy with George Bush.  Maybe this is not reality, but
  27. because the majority (obviously) believe it THAT BECOMES REALITY.  The
  28. economy is defined mostly by what people believe.  So Clinton is in
  29. office.  The people wanted a CHANGE.  Whether or not Clinton is a good
  30. president, the economy will improve BECAUSE THE PEOPLE BELIEVE IT WILL. 
  31. That's all.  It's really rather simple.

  33. It's like sports.  You've been having a bad season, and also your fans
  34. haven't been coming to as many games (less turnout).  So the team gets
  35. depressed, and starts screwing up their playing to the point that less
  36. fans come.  They get more depressed.  They're still the same team, even
  37. when all of a sudden the stadium is packed and the fans are going wild. 
  38. Since the fans are there, they must be great!  So they win the game. 
  39. Why?  Because they believed they could.

  41. Never underestimate the power of freewill.

  43. Anyway, enough of my non-politically-correct leftwing idealistic puke,
  44. on with the regularly scheduled c.s.a.hardware...
