- My HD is acting up - the drive keeps powering down for no reason (the fan and LEDs
- stay on, though), giving the standard 'Drive DHx: has a read-write error' message.
- I then have to wait for it to power up again, before clicking on 'Retry'. I had
- this problem when it was new, too, but solved it by removing the little metallic
- thing (gee, don't you just love these technical terms? :), as advised by the
- shop I bought it from, and the problem went away. For about a month. So, does
- anyone else have this problem (and if possible a solution would be nice :)?
