  35. My thinking is that all this AA Sound Stuff and HD Disks ties up
  36. (naturally) to Paula. CBM have not released an AA Paula, probably, I
  37. suspect, because it is still under development... and guess what thay
  38. are putting in it? Both the new (speculated) sound upgrade (16 bit 16
  39. voice PCM... who knows?) __AND__ an upgrade to enable Paula to handle
  40. HD Floppies at _FULL_ speed... this must be possible now with the
  41. extra bandwidth such as that given to the blitter...

  43. So folks, if my speculation is correct, for owners of true 32-bit
  44. (databus) machines with AA chips, we could soon have a Super-Paula
  45. giving us superb sound and full speed HD disks (let's face it, low
  46. speed HD disks are a bit naff)...

  50. (CBM may even leapfrog forward to a 3.52Mb disk (like IBMs 2.88), but
  51. I doubt it! (although I hope to be corrected))
