- Since no-one else seems to be clearing this up... a note enclosed with my
- 500 Plus indicated that all future machines would have a standard keyboard,
- with different markings (mine has UK but I use the usa0 keymap). If there are
- < > brackets on the key between Z and Shift the machine pictured is probably
- the UK or USA version.
-
- I suspect the keyboard may have a serial link as it looks identical to a 500+
- one (which has an A500 serial+LEDs connection). (I take this from a picture
- in Dixons' (a UK electronics boxshifter) flyer). BTW, nice one Commodore.
- The "home computers" page had one Acorn, one ST (NO Falcon), and 4 Amigas
- (A600, A600HD, A1200, and CDTV).
-
- What is the street price of an A4000 states-side? Best I have seen here is
- L2099.00 (US$3250.00) for a machine with 4MB Fast, 2MB chip and a ~100MB HD
- (no monitor). I really fancy an AGA machine but it's not worth trading down
- from 030 to 020 for, although I think the 1200 is just the job to replace the
- 500+ here.
