  26. to do it unilaterally. All *3* candidates admitted this was a good thing.

  28.  Unless Clinton's TAX and SPEND policy is going to include budget
  29. balancing CUTS, all it is going to be is TAX and BORROW without the
  30. admission that they are running up a debt.

  32.  Mind you, cutting Defense ISN'T going to balance the budget. Taxing the
  33. rich ISN'T going to balance the budget. TAXING the middle-class has
  34. always been the only way to balance the budget, and reduce the debt.

  36.  It's got to come out of our pockets eventually. All we needed is a 
  37. candidate that could blow enough sunshine up your nether passages to
  38. make it happen.

  41. 1/5th said there is another solution. Of course the Electoral College
  42. ALL voted for sunny days....

  44.  Zzzz.... I'm chortling, waiting for 1996. Maybe we'll be able to
  45. balance the budget by the year 2000....

  47.  p.s. People talk about balancing the budget and reducing the debt as
  48. being two SEPERATE entities. They should be viewed as a series of steps
  49. that NEED to be taken. One after another. And the INSTANT you stop 
  50. having at least a balanced budget, you drive up the debt. Debt is BAD.
  51. Even Donald Trump realized that. (Along with a few other lessons... :)
